WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO WHILE PREPARING FOR UPSC

In between all do's what you should not forget is what you should not do.

Here is the list that you should be committed to:-

1- Anything in UPSC doesnot stand above NCERT .

There are more elaborate editions and books on subjects ,you may or may not choose to develop a better understanding but don't forget to stick and return to NCERT.

2-Not having a study plan or routine

Without a proper routine you will always drown bewildering. Make a plan that best suits you, you can even experiment but to an extent that it leads you to a firm schedule .

Make slots for subjects,daily classes and topics and most importantly tests and answer writing.

This way,you will contribute daily towards things that most aspirants take lightly.

3- Covering Current Affairs from wrong sources.

This will lead to nowhere . Make sure your effort is directional and smart.

4-Selecting your optional comparing to someone else's.

Preparation is a personal time of ups and downs and at last you will not just have a strong career but a clear and most aware self.

Choose subjects that suits you best and you can score more without much beyond the line efforts.
