Updated: Apr 3

The world is grappling with a huge syndrom named, TRUMP and by now everyone must have heard the name Elon Musk many numbers of time associated with Twitter (now called X) and Trump, the US President. Many have heard him earlier too and for some it maybe a new name. This guy is crazy, and he is directly in touch with many top leaders of the world due to his projects such as SpaceX launching rockets and transporting humans through rockets. Other project of starlink that is providing internet connectivity through web of satellites. He was born in 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa.

He once said, "I had a terrible upbringing. I had a lot of adversity growing up. One thing I worry about with my kids is they don't face enough adversity,"

Let's know of all the projects he had worked in the past.

Elon musk buys twitter

It is said the first company Musk founded was Zip2, an online business directory, as an online alternative to the standard paper yellow pages. He sold it for over $300 million in 1999 to Compaq Computer Corporation. He was also thrown out as CEO by the investors. This had happened to him after also.

Later he used the money to work on X.com, an online bank, business model of X.com was innovative and it incentivized sign-ups and eased the process of transferring funds digitally, with no need for mail or traditional banking infrastructure.

“There are no minimum balances. You can open an account and receive a $20 promotional offer in your checking account. You can move $8 to your S&P fund, $3 each to your money market and bond fund, and be left with $6 in your checking.” - Elon Musk

X.com merged with software company Confinity just one year later, forming PayPal, a secure online payments platform with a foundation in payments conducted for PalmPilots.

Musk and his partners, including Confinity co-founder Peter Thiel, sold it to eBay in 2002 for a $1.5 billion stock deal. Also, he was again removed from this company too for his role as CEO.

Later he went onto space exploration and worked on company called SpaceX. The company has dealt with a series of rocket launch failures and Starship explosions. SpaceX has been one of the most talked of company of Elon Musk as it had many successes such as, the first private company to send a craft to the International Space Station and send astronauts to orbit. It is known for its reusable rockets.

His other company called Starlink is also doing lot of rounds and is also part of recent Russia - Ukraine war as Starlink is a constellation of satellites intended to offer commercial internet service around the globe and it is offering services in Ukraine when Russia is trying to cut off the country from the internet and connectivity but this is where Elon Musk is playing and he is also speaking to Russian President Putin at times (this guy is powerful, yes)

His other famous company is Tesla, the electric car company named after famed inventor Nikola Tesla. Valued at over $1 trillion at one point in 2021. The company was founded in 2003 and has sold more than million units globally. It is best known for its automations and driverless cars.

He invested money in other company called Solar city which is a leading residential solar installer in United States.

He founded other company called Open AI with a for-profit artificial intelligence research lab component. He resigned from the company due to some conflicts.

Musk co-founded Neuralink in 2016 with the goal of working on “brain-machine interfaces,” or BMIs, that can be implanted directly into the body, look at the projects, this man is totally crazy.

Other company he is working on is Boring company since 2016, idea of the company is to transport people and goods via underground tunnels bypassing the city traffic. The company was a subsidiary of SpaceX but later became an independent company.

Now he bought Twitter in 2022, which has been going rounds all around with many memes and criticism following his decision to charge 8 Dollars per month for blue tick feature on the social media platform. He had removed the management of the company as it is said and going to fire many employees.

Let's see how this goes as social media is divided in two parts with some saying they don't need a blue tick while some being hesitant on what he will do next. He has fired many employees from twitter. Nevertheless, now he controls a lot of powerful tech of the world, as he has internet connectivity through starlink, his own satellites, rockets through SpaceX, cars through Tesla, most popular social media that is Twitter and the solar business as well.
